Graduated in foreign languages and literature, she dedicates herself to theater, training at the Scuola del Teatro a l’Avogaria in Venice. A professional actress since 1989, she has worked in cabaret for many years: she is a finalist at “Riso Rosa” for comic actresses in Bologna, wins the “Premio Memo Benassi” for solo actors in Parma, is third at the “Festival Nazionale di Cabaret” in Turin, wins the prize for originality at the “Concorso di Cabaret Femminile Citta’ di Ferrara”, first prize from critics and the public at “Satira Invece” in Treviso, finalist at the “Premio Petrolini”, in Saint Vincent. She has also received various awards as an author, among others the first prize at the “Avamposti d’autore” competition Teatro delle donne in Florence in 2015.
Since 2001 she has been the artistic director of the Fuoriposto Cultural Association, which manages a space in Venice-Mestre where theatre and music festivals and training courses take place. She conducts theatre workshops for students of all ages.
He works mainly as a director and performer of his own shows, but collaborates with Teatro Fondamenta Nove in Venice directed by Giuseppe Emiliani and with Teatro Stabile del Veneto directed by Damiano Michieletto.
In cinema he works with Silvio Soldini, Francesco Patierno, Francesco Lagi, Richard Laxton.
A researcher of Venetian and Dolomite popular traditions, she is currently mainly concerned with telling the history, life, imagination and problems of mountain people through publications, research, shows and museum exhibitions.
