Bottegavaga is a Venetian theatre company, or rather a theatre family, born from the meeting of three people who share artistic and ethical visions, dreams and projects. The artistic direction is led by Alberta Toninato , whose vocation for directing is supported by the professionalism of Vanni Carpenedo and Betty Andriolo. Vanni has a solid technical background, ranging from physical theatre to Commedia dell’Arte. Betty, a versatile actress, also masters the English language, giving our shows, even bilingual ones, an international feel . This close-knit group collaborates with pleasure with colleagues who have long intertwined their paths with those of the company.
Among the prominent collaborators are Luigi Pozza , co-founder of Bottegavaga, and artists such as Linda Bobbo , Paola Brolati , Marta Richeldi and Christian Renzicchi , who are currently working on the shows in the program. Over time, Bottegavaga has developed its own artistic language that is reflected in precise and distinctive aesthetic and methodological choices. With a solid foundation of professionalism and passion, it combines tradition and innovation , making each show a unique and engaging experience.
